The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the lead organization within the US government that provides assistance to developing countries to help with their economic and social development. To date, USAID has programs in over 100 countries worldwide – in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Near East, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe and Eurasia. USAID’s programs in the Philippines focus on strengthening peace in conflict-affected Mindanao, promoting good governance, increasing economic opportunities, protecting the environment, strengthening health services, and improving basic education.


Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines

The Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines aims to support the ability of its members to offer quality banking services to all their constituencies, comply with regulatory requirements, and promote the welfare of the communities in which they operate.


Mindanao Development Authority

The Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) was created to promote and coordinate the active participation of all sectors to effect the socio-economic development of Mindanao through a wholistic and integrated approach. It was likewise created to address the need to promote and strengthen interregional linkages to ensure the integrated viability of the programs and projects in Mindanao, with the local government units as frontline entities that will realize the development of specific geographical areas.
